I used AFF for a few years

I have used this site on and off for a few years now, unfortunately it is getting worse as stated in other comments there are a lot of fake users on there now, making up profiles supposedly living close to you; which is not the case they message you asking you to email them, " which i did on 2 occasions" thats when you find out they just after card details.

Also the IM chat is now limited for standard members, to 3 free chats a day, this went donw from unlimited, to 5 now only 3. You have to buy coins and 300 for £3 the lowest an pay 10 for every new chat. Which isn't that bad, however it deducts coins to chat with users who are not even online.... the IM chat shows users as being online when they are not. I know this for a fact, because i created 2 account and tested it.

There are other issues with the IM chat, I constantly had messages from other countries, the users who messaged me said my profile stated i was in the USA, Canada and other places when in fact I'm in Cardiff UK. After complaining and reporting this, to the site 2 years ago, it still happening.

AFF make a lot of money from users, but in my opinion fail to provide the service they claim to do, and seem only interested in pushing you to pay more money, either on the site itself, or 1 of their other sites linked to this 1.

If they sorted out the problems, stopped trying to get as much money as possible, it could be a fantastic site. But unfortunately I can't see it changing only interested in money money money.
