Here is why you don't get Replies on Zoosk.

Zoosk boasts "Millions of Members!" Well, this is true, and not true. What Zoosk fails to mention is how many of those millions are actually active. See, if you join Zoosk and quit, your profile remains active. It still shows up years after you are gone. After the big push with Facebook in 2007, nearly all of those accounts are dead In reality, only a small percentage of the people you see on Zoosk are current, active members. The rest are dead profiles.

This is easily proven by finding photos that are date-stamped. It is not unusual to find photos stamped 2006, 2007 or even older. Dead profiles, guaranteed.

So, if you were to randomly email 30 people on Zoosk, odds are that 85% of those profiles are dead and you'll never get a reply. 4 of your emails might make it to living, breathing members. Not good odds.

Zoosk even tactfully uses these dead profiles in their extra charge services, such as "Boost". You physically need to be online to activate this service. Yet, when you click on a boosted member, you'll find that they haven't been online, even recently. So, how did they get onto this extra-charge service? Zoosk pretty much randomly loads in members for their "Boost" feature when they don't have enough current members willing to pay for it.

If you want to test this theory, do a search, say within 50 miles of your location. Keep track of those members who show up as "Currently Online" or "Recently Online". If the member isn't tagged with either one of those, odds are it's a dead profile.

If you decide to quit Zoosk, take down all your photos and delete the bulk of your profile. This will keep from misleading other members 10-years from now.

ZOOSK DO NOT JOIN.
I WAS A NON MEMBER FOR DAYS BEFORE JOINING FOR ONLY 1 MONTH.
I HAD RECENTLY MOVED TO SMALL MOUNTAIN TOWN.
NOTICED 1 MAN LIVED LESS THAN ONE MILE.
YET HE NEVER RETURNED MY MESSAGE BUT HIS PROFILE CONSTANTLY VIEWED MINE?
I LOOKED UP COMPLAINTS ABOUT SITE.
OTHER PAST MEMBERS SAID ZOOSK JUST KEEPS ROTATING OLD PICTURES ON SITE.
I SIGNED UP ON A SATURDAY AND BY SUNDAY MORNING TRIED TO CANCEL MY ACCOUNT.
COULD NOT, CLICKED ON "CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION" BUT SITE REDIRECTS YOU TO LOG IN SCREEN AGAIN.
YET, WHEN I TRIED TO LOG IN, GET RED BANNER MESSAGE SAYING MY EMAIL AND PASSWORD NOT ACCURATE? YET, I WAS ALREADY IN SITE. IT IS ONLY WHEN YOU TRY TO CANCEL THEN YOU CANNOT. I ALSO CLICKED ON "PAUSE ACCOUNT" WHICH I COULD GO INTO WITHOUT ANY PROBLEM. SO GOOD LUCK TRYING TO CANCEL REOCCURRING ACCOUNTS. DISHONEST SITE. I ALSO TRIED TO LOG INTO HELP AND COULD NOT LEAVE A MESSAGE. JUST BRINGS UP SERIES OF QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS, BUT NO FILL IN DIALOGUE BOXES TO LEAVE A REQUEST.
JUST KEEP GETTING SAME PEOPLE VIEWING MY PROFILE? VERY FEW MESSAGE DURING THE PAST FEW WEEKS. LITTLE TO NO ACTIVITY.
SO I CALLED MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY. NOW HAVE TO WAIT A FEW DAYS BEFORE MEMBERSHIP POSTS BEFORE I CAN CANCEL AND GET MY MONEY CREDITED THROUGH MY CARD CO.
I CANNOT CANCEL OR GET MONEY BACK FROM THIS SITE? MAYBE IT IS TOO SOON DUE TO IT STILL PENDING?
REGARDLESS, ALOT OF SAME PROFILES ROTATED BUT LITTLE TO NO ACTUAL HUMAN MESSAGES.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

So I canceled my account and the Likes and Views starting rolling in. Most from hundreds of miles away. What a con!

Wow yes I just joined recently and thought finally I was on a site with men I might actually be attracted to and literally have sent about 25 messages to test my theory of fake profile because not one of the people I messaged either looked at my profile, comes up as online or replied and no one ever seems to come up twice on a search ..strange big waste of money !

I find Zoosk is a rip off, what a shame as it looks like a decent dating service.

Everything bad said about Zoosk is true!
I had a free account . In a week I had 5 greetings from views to send a message and 2 want to meet.
As soon as a I got a 1 month subscription.
NO replies, conversations, acknowledgement, nothing.
A few days later those messages said they were 1 to 2 days old????
If these accounts are inactive, how and why are they always showing online or off.
This site needs to be reported.

I mistakenly signed up for the upgrade
Prior to this, I got lots of messages and views After I took a one,-month subscription, no more messages, and no responses from anyone who'd allegedly messaged or viewed me. In their Terms of Service,they even say that they throw in test profiles of people who don't exist, and can't be contacted in order to monitor site usage. A true scam. They also have hooked up with trashy apps Skout and MeetMe for the gold-digging women on there just for gifts and diamonds.
