Awful, awful experience. I would never suggest using this company. I'm an attractive outgoing woman who likes to hunt, fish, vacation, cook, etc. I didn't think this should be too difficult for them. The 2 years I have been with this company I've had the worst dates ever! I live in a major city and 95% of the dates they had chosen for me live atleast 2+ hours away. I had informed them many times I do not want to go on a date with somebody that far away nor do I want to date a person with children. I absolutely love kids!! But I'm not ready for them in my life right now. They never paid any attention to what I had asked for and would continue to set me up with men with children who lived 2+ hours away. Very frustrating. That was a huge issue for me.

Also, of the dates, very rarely did I have anything in common with them. Going to meet them out was honestly a chore. Some of them literally just stared at me (no lie) and a couple who actually did engage in conversation I found out we really had nothing in common and were clearly not a good match. One "match" actually sent me half naked pictures of himself the following day so I wouldn't forget what he looked like. I'm not quite sure how we were placed. It was as if they just picked men at random and gave no thought to who I was matched with. I paid how much money for this service?! Many times at the dates I would pay the full bill just to get out of there.

I told the dating coordinator each time how these matches were not good and it seemed they didn't have anybody in my area for me and I wanted to quit. She would tell me time and time again they would find me a good date.

It finally got to the point in these dates that I think the dating coordinator realized the dates were actually quite awful. And the few dates I was going on were rather few. She said she wasn't going to charge me anymore until they had more matches in my area. Wonderful!! Somebody who actually listened! Unfortunately, she moved on and I got another new dating coordinator. I informed her of what the agreement was when she tried to set me up with a date who was 2 hours away with children (I wish I was kidding) and I wanted to keep the agreement where I wasn't going to be charged until there was a match in my area. She said fine, we'd be in touch. i was happy. I really thought they were going to actually try now!!!

About 6 months passed when I called to see what was going on with my file. I'm a very busy medical professional and had spent some time vacationing in Europe and around the U.S. I spoke with a different coordinator who told me her manager and I had apparently spoke and I had agreed that I was done with IJL and deactivated my file. Hmmmmm. Nope. I never heard from the company. I asked when this phone call had taken place and she told me the date. Funny thing is the date the call had happened, I was vacationing in Europe for 3 weeks!! So. I'd like to know how we talked. Furthermore, if she really did call me, I would have informed her I was going to be moving to California and if she'd be able to set me up with the service out there. She then told me "Well, we tried to set you up with good matches." Not quite sure what a good match is in there eyes....... I told the coordinator of like to speak to this person and it's been over a month with no call from her.

Lengthy, I know. But please whatever you do, stay away from this disaster of a service!! They honestly just want your money and don't care. And. They clearly lie not only to you but make up some interesting stuff to sell you these dates. I had heard this from a few of the dates I went with Its just not worth it

They were just sued by a group of women in New York for the multiple lies they would tell them.
