Predatory auto-renewal is this site's biggest downfall, aside from the junk most dating sites have like phishing scams and outdated photos, but it's enough to keep me from using Christian Mingle ever again. If I try online dating again I'll probably go with match.com once more instead as there isn't much value to the Christian part of CM anyway from what I've experienced on the site as most of the women were likely not Christian for most of their lives and had the corresponding baggage like exes and multiple kids - not exactly conducive to a healthy relationship for a single male who hasn't lived so irresponsibly.

Do you even bother to witness because apparently if someone isn't born in to a Christian family holding a cross from the womb they aren't worthy to enter the Kingdom of heaven according to the book of you. Want to give me scripture and verse where Jesus says only those born in to Christian families and saved by (oh let me guess) a magic sinners prayer at 4 years old are saved? Was Paul a Christian all his life or (gasp) was he a murdering persecutor of Christians until Christ convicted and saved him?? Do you stand at the alter and judgementally stare at broken sinners repenting while saying Dear Lord, thank you that I'm not like that person, a sinner? Older brother, you have glaring pride and it is appalling. Children are a blessing from the Lord and you're calling His creation baggage??? Seriously??? I know lots of cradle Christians and one of them cheated on her pastor husband with my husband. Blows your theory right out of the water doesn't it?

I chose a man based on who he presented himself to be. We dated for nearly 2 years before marriage so no I didn't rush it. After we were married he began to be different and eventually someone I did not recognize. He became self-centered, abusive, and an adulterer many times over. We had three children - oh, excuse me- three bags of baggage according to your terminology by the time I discovered he had been cheating nearly our entire marriage. He left for a cradle Christian. One of his many adultery partners. Not all of us chose poorly resulting in baggage. I chose based on who he presented himself to be and who he claimed to be is a man any woman would have chosen. He was great. Problem was it was a sham and he is a narcissist. My children are BLESSINGS from the LORD and if I should remarry more children through however the Lord brings then would be blessings. Get your heart and head right with the Lord. Learn the true Gospel.

This really is very worrying! I'm pretty sure I first saw the information about automatic renewal after I had paid my one-month subscription. Can these people really renew a bank payment automatically? My bank (UK) lists all my scheduled payments, so I can cancel whatever I wish. But I see no listing of CM, nor of its owner, Spark Networks.

I wish I had come upon this blog before I signed up!
