You're just shallow so just accept it. Why did you even go out with artists to begin with? You want the glamour that comes from basking in the shadow of an artist but not the sacrifice that goes with it. And what makes you think that these guys were into you for relationship material anyway? They were probably looking for a good time as all men will do - artists or not. It's called "dating" not "getting married". Not every date is the step towards matrimony. And yeah, all those divorces between couples who are well-off ... how did those happen if they were so well-matched.

You say that you're up to supporting someone's dreams but you really just want to support the dreams that mesh with your own. Just own it and stop complaining. It's okay to be shallow and superficial - most of the world is - so why not just get on with it.

Do yourself a favour - date guys who have the same boring job that you do, okay? That way everyone is happy. Don't go out of your comfort zone and stop lying to yourself that that is what you want to do.

Wow this was a strong and beautiful come back - as long as you love with your heart and your in the relationship for the rite reasons then who knows when the Artists is going to have there big next break! I'm sure by that point you'll want to share the limelight! Money over heart is a dangerous game ...
You both have to be supportive or both your dreams! Every artist still has the power to contribute to financial gain and to set the bar for stability.
