This is a great idea. It also opens up the way for genuine conversation even if the person is not so interested in the particular activity.

Especially for women, guys are visual and seeing a pic of you engaged in one of your favourite hobbies allows them to begin thinking and visualising how they might fit with you. If they can visualise something that might fit, they might contact you.

Guys be bold and ask that girl out. You would be amazed at how many women haven't been asked out for a while, so you never know - they might just say yes. If they don't, ask the next one - you are only ever, at least, one step away from a yes!
