Plenty of Fish Statistics Updated

In a recent Globe and Mail article about PlentyOfFish.com and its founder, a few interesting statistics about the dating company where revealed which we did not know about before.

According to the article:

• PlentyOfFish now employs about 20 people
• They have started a separate company called Offeron that is modelled after Groupon which offers location based deals to visitors
• At least 5 million users log in once a day to PlentyOfFish. The highest ever has been over 7 million
• POF.com receives about 6.3 million unique visitors and 2.8 billion page views per month
• The PlentyofFish mobile dating app has been downloaded about 1 million times since Christmas
• The mobile app now accounts for about half of POf usage
• PlentyofFish member’s average age is 39. A user of their mobile app average app is 29
