I am new to the gay online dating scene and have done a few searches on Google for dating sites and ran across Adam4adam.com and Manhunt.net

I have joined Adam4adam since it is free but the whole thing seems kind of clunky and the design reminds me of bad websites from the 90s. I have also ran across a number of people who contacted me that were obvious scammers by their horrible spelling and grammar.

I have yet to join Manhunt but from what I can tell it does seem to be the more polished of the two dating sites. I am willing to fork out a little money for a membership if the site is worth it but I do not want to be taken.

Are these the two premier gay dating sites out there? If they are, which one is worth sticking with? If not which site should I be joining?

Do you need to say anything more? Adam4Adam is free so why would you want to pay for the same thing but somewhere else? Sure it may not look as “nice” but it gets the job done. I know as I have met a lot of guys on the site over the last number of years.

You will find scam artists on Adam4Adam but if you are smart about it they are easy to spot. This is the only real bad thing about a free dating site is there are more scammers on it that a paid version but then again there are more people on free sites in general anyways.

I would stick with Adam4Adam.com if I were you. It is the best gay dating site out there in my humble opinion.

Manhunt is broken in my opinion. I hate auto-renewal plans and I could never get in contact with customer service about how to disable it. It turned into a big pain when I decided to subscribe.

On the other hand adam4adam has been great. Once I found them a year ago I never went back to manhunt. You can meet guys on manhunt but I have probably met about twice as many in the same amount of time on adam4adam and all without paying a dime.

Have you guys tried the Adam4Adam radar app? I found it on Google Play last month and it is pretty good. I find accessing Adam4Adam on my phone much easier and more convenient than logging in with my laptop. The one thing is I wish you can view more profiles than the app allows you to at once. I also miss the instant chat that the website has but communicating by messaging or texting on the phone works out fine anyways.

The last update to the app sucks! I had no problems with the previous version but when I upgraded it today it just locks up on my Galaxy S2 phone. Does anyone know how to fix it and prevent the adam4adam app from freezing as it is completely unusable for me?

I just joined manhunt.net and am not sure how to turn off auto renewal of the subscription. Does anyone know how? I do not want to be charged again without my knowledge and I would rather just join again if I think it is worth it. I checked under my account for a rebill option without luck.

Any help would be great as I do not want to cancel my credit card.

Why join manhunt when adam4adam is free?

I actually like manhunt better. There are less bad apples on it. This probably has something to do with having to buy a membership to actually talk to someone on the site.

I find manhunt sucks for members living in small cities. I get a fair amount of message spam from manhunt for my town which has a population of under 30,000. It is easy to spot, some hunky model guy that has no business living in my town and that I haven’t heard of before. I am looking for another site to join. I will give adam4adam a try then.

BTW has anyone heard of gay.com?

Manhunt used to be good before, it was gay. Now it has become a flaming drag queen on crystal Meth. Selling you ads every 5 seconds, raising prices to levels not warranted when shoving ads in my face, AND my mail box. I NEVER used the chat box, how *censored* AOL. Only desparados use that *censored*. And I don't need to see everyones mailbox conversations, that needs to be private and at times is really *censored* gross.

The models Manhunt has now on the page TOO BIG and, FEM CITY. They think there being edgy but there really just jumping the shark. They plea and plead for me to sign up for a deal. 7 dollars for week. YEA *censored* right. So not worth it.

Adam4Adam only shows ads they dong cover the entire screen and its free.
I also don't have to see other peoples stupid conversations.

The only thing manhunt is good for is scoping out people in other countries and
the occasional out of town hook up. American gays and males have become so feminized due to all the phthalates and atrazine being used, they are ignorant of BPA's in cans bottles and reciepts that OOPS got there by accident. ONLY A WOMAN would swallow that theory. And there are a myraid other hormone disrupters.

I rarely get with posioned locals, Im one of the only masculine gays because as a Child of CPS and the state, im not stupid to there little tricks. Any of you passive dupes believe about HIV, so many gays willing poision themselves with PROBABLE aids drugs. Its always been severe addictive recreational drug use that causes this.
