I recently join okcupid after using tinder for a while. I am getting a lot more likes on okcupid. In the past 2 days I have almost 100! I never had so many on tinder with virtually the same profile and photos.

Is this because okcupid is so much better than tinder?

Or are these likes from fake profiles?

Anyone else have a similar experience?

Yep. Same experience. I felt like on OK Cupid got a ton of likes and I was also very surprised. Ego boost for sure for people that want it.

I'd like to know how my hidden profile is getting "likes"??? And no I'm not paying to see who's liking me. I use "incognito mode" on there so nobody should see me unless I email them.

Okcupid does fake likes. I paid for the app and weeded out the 100+ likes I had. 90% of them were from girls in a different continent. For the entire month I got like 5 likes. Right before my month was up, I made sure to clear my likes. Now 2 days after being back to a free account, I already have 25 likes. Seems a little fishy to me. I hope my experience sheds some light on their sketchy practices.

Maybe they do that to get people to sign up and pay.

Same here. A few days before my okc premium period ended I got more likes. But they included not more fake profiles than before in average. So it seems they just put me on top of the stack to keep me signed in.

And then just within 24 hrs. after the premium period ended I got 15 more likes (in average I got 3-4 a month before). So THAT seems to be fakes!

And... had the same a year ago already.

I just signed onto OK Cupid for the first time in several months. While I was on there, the likes were increasing at an absurd rate.

Not cool.

This has been exactly my experience.

Just joined OkCupid around 9 hours ago, and wake up to 11 likes. I was orignally super stoked but then I got really suspicious because I just deleted Match due to lack of responses to messages and likes.

Really glad I didn't give into temptation and purchase premium.

I joined OkCupid 2 days ago and now I have over 900 likes, some of them might be fake but if you really want to get more likes you have to like other profiles too, that will increase your chances of getting more real likes as well as getting to interact with more people

I filled out over 300 questions, a-d but always wrote a comment as well....so people can get to know me. I had lot of likes, lot of msgs....some were real....most never replied back, or if they did, was 5 word response, some made sense some didnt. Those were AI or their Bot. But i met and dated 3-5 chicks on this sight. I dated a travelling nurse, she hit me up, wanted to meet for drinks, i liked her get down....ballsy, so i said yes. We had fun. Lived together for about 6-9 months....we had fun. As with everything, how many guys said they did it? A lot. So its real on our end. This site was much more popular 10 plus years ago.....its kinda lost its charm.....thats my take, time to find a new updated site. MeetLocals is fake too. Way too many messages, ton of chicks on it, but in every city. Only a few new me, gotta pay to read em. So i bailed. Hope that helped. Cheers.
