the Old POF'ers over there are the right wingers it seems. If there are any from the left, moderates, progressives, liberals, they were not evident to me, at least not in the election thread and imho, if you still support Trump.....that screams out Right Winger.

I have zero desire to argue with Right Wingers at this point...I am exhausted by Trumpism and what I consider to be almost a psychological condition that these people are suffering from. I just do not understand how such an objectively terrible, rude, cruel, insulting and offensive man can be supported in the manner he is supported, and I want zero to do in associating with those types of people. Not even in arguing with them. They are simply psychologically gone as far as I am concerned.

This morning TV Land was showing old Andy Griffith shows. I enjoy watching these old shows. The show reruns were always on in the late morning on one of the Youngstown TV stations when I was a young child and I enjoyed it then.

Today, as an adult and father, it often surprises me how relevant so many of the old Andy Griffith reruns are. Most of them are silly old slapstick but many have messages that are as relevant today as they were then. Many are values that seem long lost.

The two scenes linked below from the episode "A Medal for Opie" are two conversations Frederick Christ Trump Sr. obviously failed to have with little Donny. If he had these type of character-building lessons with little Donny, Donny may have developed some maturity rather than being a 74 year old spoiled brat.

Besides these scenes being some little Donny obviously didn’t get as a child, it is also easy to look at them as a narrative. In this narrative Andy (Paw) is representing the majority of this nation as reasonable and intelligent mature Americans and 8 year old Opie is the 74 year old outgoing spoiled brat and bully and those gullible enough, and/or bullied enough, to blindly accept his unfounded unproven lunatic fringe conspiracies and rants.

Surprising how well these two scenes from the 1962-episode parallel current events.

I was on this site at the same time the “POF CLOSED THE FORUMS” thread that you started a couple years ago was locked.

I opened the page a couple of hours after my reply to El hozel’s last post to see if he had posted a reply to mine. Also, to make a further point.

The thread was still open to reply because I opened and started a reply to make that further point. I opened a couple older pages to check and quote some facts. (El hozel strikes me as a troll that tries to use and twist facts, as he sees them, against others but hates facts when used to point out his delusions and shortcomings.)

When I was looking at an older post I noticed that the reply link was missing. Then I came back to the last page and I saw a single negative vote for El hozel’s last post and a single positive vote for my last post. I also noticed that the reply link was now missing on that page. My suspicion is that a moderator was on, posted those two votes, then locked the thread.

I figured that the moderator locked the thread after seeing that El hozel was twisting what you had posted about IAMATA 'pegging' your posting into yet another disturbing perverted sexual connotation and decided that it was time to put a stop to it once and for all.

So, I lay the blame at El hozel’s feet for placing the last straw that broke the spine of your thread Mr. Cash.

El hozel has posted that he did not want to see this thread locked. He has also posted in one of his rants complaining about what others did, in his delusional opinion, to cause the closing of the POF forums, and I quote, "Kind of like: shoot the lights then curse the dark." It seems like he was the one popping off shots even though he didn't want the lights to go out.

OK. Enough ranting on my part.



Now, to say something that keeps this posting on topic.

Hopefully your politicians can get past the impeachment trial, regardless of outcome, and get back to governing.

Hopefully those old POFers you mention that are on the Frivolity boards you mention can get over Trump being removed from office by the vote, and thus the will, of the American people.

What you said about being on line while the thread was being closed was interesting. It is no surprise to me that it was locked again. It took a little longer that I thought it would though. When it was locked the first time it was unlocked six months later. I am wondering if it will be unlocked again in July. (??)

It makes sense that Hoźe job’s further demonstration of turning an innocent comment into another perverted sexual comment was possibly the last straw. We will never know for sure. I still say that it is fitting that the last post prior to locking the thread was one pointing out that fact. Again, good job.

I would have thought that long before now El hozel would be here arguing that Mr J Cash or IAMATA were the ones to cause that POF thread to be locked and not his obvious perversions and apparent mental condition.

Either the administration has completely blocked him - doubtful since he was an anonymous poster and, as he has pointed out, getting around an IP block is easy - or he is not aware of the postings about him in this thread.

There is another possibility. El hozel, Mr J Cash, and IAMATA have all come to their senses!

Oh, what was I thinking? Even I could not keep a straight face while writing that last line.

Just going back to my original point....I said trump would be convicted, I didn't necessarily mean in the Senate.

I think in the not far off future, Trump will be indicted in New York and I think there is a good bet he will be convicted too.

Still I was decent too him at the request of KJ, who thought he might commit suicide if I was too hard on him.

And from then on...Hopeless (Hopeful hunk) made sure I knew who he was so he could attack me and then blame me for attacking him.

KJ was right about him...he is mentally ill...but wrong that he was self destructive.

By the way, I am tickled pink how Joe Biden is doing. A president with dignity and class and hard working...something we once took for granted, a concept destroyed by Trump....it is so nice to experience it again.
