Hey guys and gals. Just wanted to start a thread on good and bad free dating sites. Which ones are scams and which ones are not. A few that I saw that are cool were Plenty of Fish and TheBadge. Both are 100% free online dating sites that don't try to scam you at the end.

IT is a waste of time.

I don't know about the other 'free' sites.

The sad thing about POF is that they actually have a fairly large dating base.

It seems a little top heavy with Canadian profiles so I suspect it is run out of Canada.

Nothing against that nice country.

I like Canadians in general amd love thier copuntry.

But just thought I would mention this

I just checked it out. Of course you can put an ad on for free (which site does not offer this?).

But even just to search for members to see if they have any slecetions requires paying to join this site.

What a joke.

Is it now coming to the point that these dating sites are so greedy that it costs just to LOOK to see if they have more than two members in your state or country?

www.club462.com is free at the moment.

They are upfront that the all inclusive membership will be $10 a month when members have to start paying, but it looks like there will still be tons of free stuff even without paying the $10. Anyway, they seem like a totally real site, no fakes (which is unusual nowadays I'm finding). Also, I like the fact that they are upfront about the $10. (Which when you see all the features they have, seems almost free (IMO))

Plenty of FIsh is good and totally free . These spammers trying to market their own sites on here like the last two posts (which are really the same people) should n't try to mislead people

As the CEO of Club462, yes you can search the Domain Name and you will find me, I can assure you that club462 does not operate any other sites. I can also assure you that the club is free through 2007 and you may choose to stay in either a paying or non paying status. Our limitations for non paying members is much more liberal than some other dating sites. Logon and make up your own mind.
