Well , I've got divorced last year living and am alone in NYC. I'm wondering why so many US men like to date Chinese ladies? Actually my body shape is ok but not that hot. I am just curious about this.

Well, this is not that simple question, as it seems to be, or rather there is not really short answer, as it will have way too many variations, and generalizations in it and may lead to way to many arguments and completely unnecessary, and useless as all arguments will be based on personal experience, attitude, mentality, and list goes on
Anyway, this question has drown my attention purely because I like social things, etc…
Also I am not and expert, and only can express my opinion, rather than anything else .
Also I am not from US, but from what I here from people, I would say pattern would be similar
So here goes “generalisation”
First of all, I would say, it is not only Chinese, but rather girls from non Anglo Saxon background, and even preferably, who was not born in western countries. “Chinese” I suppose simply because it is nigger population, so easier to get in touch with them Again, there are all sorts of reasons, but in my opinion, regardless of reasons, common pattern is that “western type of relationship between man and woman” to the large degree this days a bit broken and unnatural, or at least in “English speaking” countries. Not sure about others, but likely to be similar. By the way, personally I cannot blame just “girls”. That is silly, it takes both parties Anyway, girls of other background, still have more “traditional mentality”. Again, depending on background it will be different, etc… questions here is not in the details, or cultural background, but rather in very simple (as I see it) thing: they still feel themselves to be women, different to man, but they also allow man to be different. It is not so much “battle of sexes” with them, but rather “working together to find compromise” By the way, it is not that simple, not that one is better then another However, I think more and more man prefer “working together” to the constant battle
As I mentioned, this is really big generalisation and simplification, but personally I feel this it what it is in the nutshell comes down to.

However, if the question specifically about “divorced” girls, then I am not sure.
