Hi guys I read about a new dating app called Reveal on the mail online. Apparently girls are hidden and then can only be seen by guys they swipe right on. Has any tried it, is it any good? Jenny x

Saw it featured on the Mail online. Love the idea of guys not being able to swipe. That will solve alot of issues so will probably check it out!

It looks like the Reveal Dating App and RevealDating.com are now closed. The website just redirects to focusallmedia.com and I don't see the apps on Google Play anymore. There Twitter account at https://twitter.com/revealdating is still active but their last post is 4 years old, from July 2017.

I guess there concept of delivering genuine matches by banning men from browsing through profiles and women can browse but remain invisible until they swipe right was a failure. I could have told them that for free that it was a failed concept. The apps casual sexy hookup feel for the most part only appeals to men so they were not going to get any traction from women joining. If a man joins a dating site he wants to look at profiles.... not wait around until someone likes him.
