I was very lucky to find Stitch when checking out online dating sites to join. What sold me immediately was the required validation process before anyone could become a member of the site. The second reason was the very affordable cost of membership. Since joining, I've met many smart, funny, kind and supportive people in the community. Working from home has its perks but can be very lonely. After joining Stitch, a typical work day for me often includes one of these virtual activities; listening to music, chatting, playing group games, doing meditation, discussing hobby-related stuff, etc. There are many active discussions on any topic you could think of. If you can't find it, then start your own discussion or plan an activity. I was very happy to find other over-50 ladies into K-Dramas like me :) Although I am looking for romance along with friendship, this is perfect for me since I'll have the opportunity to get to know someone first before getting romantically involved. If you are like me, having never joined an online dating site before, consider joining Stitch. It's safer, less expensive and a great learning platform to practice making and maintaining online friendships.
