This line was at the end and now I know it should lead off: "Stitch is best money I ever spent to meet & communicate with others like myself."
I am a male about 70. There are many many people on Stitch up to 20 years younger & enough that are my age or older. My profile states "Looking for Friendship", most people also have "looking for Romance".
I joined in November 2020 and the 100s of Discussion Groups got me through lockdowns. There are also so many Zoom events of different subjects or locale that you can have several a week. Now that lockdown is over, in-person is coming back.
I have many Discussion friends and we know each other well. Some have become "Private Message" friends. And, I am now ready for in-person if any happen within 100 miles of me. I may even try putting together one for my county and surrounding counties in PA.
Bottom line, if I were actively looking for Romance, I'd probably let myself out there more &, because I really am a nice guy, I am sure I would have connected with several eligible females who I'd love to have an in-person relationship with.
The site is safe and I have seen no evidence of people pumping up their looks or background. My profile picture, and other member pictures, are current. That's why I know there are women in my age range who would be quite attractive to me. And I mean attractive well beyond just physical appearance. I read their discussion comments as well as their written profiles.
