They are not on the rise, they are finally getting reported. As I have stated many times. The on line dating industry is a huge scam and should be regulated. No other industry operates with such impunity with no safeguards for the public. It is essentially a license to print money with no regard for not only financial impact, but emotional one as well. How many companies do you know that provide no way of legitimately contacting them to dispute charges or false claims. They can shut your account down and take ALL your money with simply stating you have "Violated" their terms of service but give you no explanation of what terms you violated. They provide no phone number and emails if returned, take weeks. Yes, I am one of the people talking to the FBI and providing them with information they normally dont have.
