In the 2 or 3 years that I have had a free membership with Mingle2 - which was a paid subscription when I began - I have met 1 real person, a lady looking for a hook-up - which would be fine - except she is homeless and without hookups in a motel, she would be back on the street. One lady, perhaps might be legit, but she lives too far away and I have no interest in a long distance relationship. Every other lady - and I have corresponded with a few - are completely false, scammers interested in getting my money. Early on I communicated with what I thought was a real woman, until she said I had to join "for free using my membership code" to a "security check" site to make sure I was legit. Of course the site asked me for information that would enable them to steal my identity, so no thanks, I passed. And the usual "lovely lady in a small Russian village where there are no opportunities to meet anyone" - literally I had some back and forth with a lady claiming to be this, and so AVOID this site like the plague. Fake, false, look at the photos and the empty profiles and you'll see.
