Not so free afterall! Tried to send messages and hit a paywall.

You: So I typed a long response to someone, and it brought me to "Wait! Your message was not sent"
You: Is my message just gone?
Casey: Please note that should you want to view matches photos and send unlimited messages using eHmail you need to subscribe to one of our plan. However, I would be more than happy to assist you choosing the best plan we have for you.
Casey: To better assist you, I’d like to ask you a few questions.
Casey: Of the different plans we offer, is there one in particular that you’re interested in?
You: Are you a robot Casey?

Casey: If you are a non paying member, you will be always directed to the billing page after you send a message since it serves as a reminder that you still need to subscribe a plan to see the photo of your match.
Casey: Currently, we do not offer a free trial of our plan features. Now that you’ve registered, you can take a look at your initial matches' profile, build up your own profile, use our Guided Communication and more for absolutely free.
Casey: However, please know that should you wish to view your matches photos, exchange unlimited personal messages using EHmail, know who's viewed you, and take advantage of our premium services, etc., you will need to subscribe to one of our plans.

Casey: You can communicate with your matches for free using our Guided Communcation.

Casey: Our Guided Communication is an option to our eHarmony members can use that can help them break the ice with their matches, get to know their matches' interest and skills and be real with their matches. With this option, you will be able to send few questions to your match that can help you getting to know more about them. However, please note that you can only go through the 3 stages in Guided Communication and you need to be a subscriber to one of our plans to use the eHarmony Mail where you can send and received unlimited personal messages.

Casey: I understand, but please know that after you complete the Relationship Questionnaire you can review your matches for free! Once you have looked over the profiles of those that are compatible matches with you, I’m sure that you’ll be interested in subscribing and taking the next step in finding the right one for you.

You: So, you don't actually get to send and receive actual typed messages from people without subscribing. And yet communication is free?
Casey: Should you want to send a personalize message to your match you will need to subscribe to our plan first.

You: Clicking "ice breakers" is not communication.
Casey: Just to gave you an idea about the 3 stages in Guided Communication that we have including the "Makes and Breaks".
Casey: The first stage allows you to choose 5 multiple-choice questions that will help you build rapport with your compatible matches and break the ice. Once you've read over your match's profile, you then choose informative questions to ask your match.
Casey: The second stage is a round of communication consists of reviewing and exchanging your personal list of "Makes" and "Breaks" with your match. Understanding yourself as well as your matches' needs is an important key to building a strong relationship.
Casey: The third stage allows you to get to know other singles by asking some questions that can be difficult to ask a potential partner , before you make the leap. It will also help you write and exchange questions that explore issues people often overlook until late in their romantic relationships. These questions allow for more thorough, detailed answers that reveal someone's inner values.
