The Catholic Match site claims that it has over
1 000 000 profiles, but actually they keep a lot of inactive profiles staying there for a number of years (they never delete them, because they want to keep the number high).

The CM staff makes everything possible to limit your communication and actually to keep you on the site as long as possible. There is a very low limit of 10-15 messages you can send to different people, whom you have not spoken to at a given time and they send warning messages when somebody wants to share offline contacts and move the relationship on the next level, because they want to keep it all on CM and keep you paying as much as you can.

My profile was removed from the administrator, just because I have sent my e-mail address to a few people on the site and when I received a warning from the administrator I asked them to raise a complaint to the second level and to challenge that decision, because it is nowhere stated in the terms of service that you are not allowed to do that. Simply they want to keep you on this site as a paying member forever.

The administrators do anything they want without abiding any rules.

On the other hand another support ticket that I raised for technical issues was not resolved, because they were very busy.

The site is largely dominated by US, when I asked them for a few changes to make it more customer friendly for people from Europe (at least search by region) they totally ignored my request.

I can't say anything about the members, there are all kinds of people, but definitely many of them are only Catholic by name, claiming to answer with yes to all of the questions of faith and then doing just the opposite.

A huge disappointment overall.
