Same trouble all over the world. I've just cancelled my 6-month membership after 3 months, as I didn't think the site was worth the money. (it is 3 months to the end of my membership, too.) I've followed their cancellation instructions re the emailed cancellation option but as yet, have had no confirmation of cancellation despite 2 more requests for confirmation, and as yet haven't been able to reach them by phone. I'll be cancelling the card I used for payment and have already contacted the Australian consumer authorities. I have copies of absolutely every piece of paperwork I've done, and have printed out all relevant info from their website. Just let them try and bully me into anything - and that's what they're doing, bullying you by threatening legal action etc. I'll have their you-know-what's for breakfast.

No matter where a company's head office is, if they operate in your country, they are subject to the consumer laws of YOUR country.

I also intend to contact the relevant authorities in Switzerland and Luxembourg. It might not do any good but at least I will have tried. I suggest you also do this. Let's all unite and try to get these scammers closed down.

Interesting, isn't it, that their offices are in Swizerland and Luxembourg - the home of the "swiss bank account" and a notorious tax haven respectively.
