I have received the following email from their solicitors today:

Dear Be2 user,

You have not reacted to our previous reminders and not made any payments. Although we
even granted you the option of not settling the claim until one month later or paying it off in
reasonable monthly instalments, you have not felt the need to repay your debt to our client.
You therefore force us to pass the file on to our Litigation Department. There they will prepare
legal proceedings against you, obtain the court instrument permitting enforcement and institute
the requisite compulsory execution measures to enforce our client's claim. This will incur further
court costs, solicitors' fees and bailiffs' disbursements. These will clearly increase the claims.
Our Litigation Department will inter alia enforce the garnishment of bank accounts, income from
employment, insurance policies, retirement pension expectancies, etc. We wish to expressly point
out that our client will not forego its claim and will do everything to collect the outstanding
debts. With the obtaining of the enforceable instrument and implementation of all necessary
compulsory execution measures our client has instructed us just as with a long-term monitoring
of an enforceable instrument. This guarantees that in the next 30 years, in a constantly recurring
rotation, execution measures can be taken against you insofar as necessary. To prevent us
passing your file on to the Litigation Department, we are giving you a last opportunity to
transfer the claim amounting to EUR 236,36 into our account quoting the reference number
29530012628 by 05.07.13 at the latest. You can only prevent your file being passed on to the
Litigation Department by paying by

05.07.13 (receipt of money in our account)

or by submitting a reasonable offer to pay by instalments. In your own interest we can
only urge you to contact us immediately.

I have written to BBC Watchdog to see if they can help. It is disgusting that this company preys on the vulnerable, and takes advantage of the fact most of us would be too mortified/scared to do anything else but pay up when threatened by such action. This has been going on for over a year now and I thought I had sorted it out. I refused to fax them my cancellation as there was no way I was going to let them have either my telephone number or signature. God alone knows what they would do with that information...
