i am currently being threatened with legal action by this site, despite cancelling online and by e mail. Has any body had any sucess in fighting them?

I too have been threatened with legal action - but ignore it - i did everything they wanted to cancel and still they wanted me to do more - so I just got fed up of it and changed my bank details instead. I did not use the site for about 5 months. They never sent an e:mail in all that time - but when it came time to renew my membership - I suddenly got lots of e:mails stating they had a match for me - woopie!! Then came the irrate e:mails because the could not access any more funds. My answer was - if you won't cancel - then I will!! Legal action was threatened - and I ignored them. My question is :- has anyone ever actually been taken to court??? I doubt it! so you don't really need to worry about sucessfully fighting your corner - there will not be a court case - and I doubt very much if there is a debt collector either.

I'm glad to have read your email.... I've stopped payments and am now being threatened... Will ignore their threats too. Do I need to change my bank details if I've stopped payments with my bank?
