DON'T fall into the trap of the free 30 day trial there is no free 30 day trail they will charge your visa mastercard the same day the full price and then when you try to dispute they will not refund your money and they will continue to charge your credit card they give you all the hoops to jump thru I HAVE BEEN BATTTLING THIS QUITE SOME TIME THERE IS NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!cancel button.

Most of the fee based membership dating sites are very good at getting your credit card and processing fees. They use all kinds of methods to make it very difficult to cancel.

A very simple and legal method to cancel and / or get refunded any charges you did not agree too or were misled.

Always use a credit card, NOT a debt card. Call your credit card company and dispute the charges. Use these exact words and nothing else. I need to do a CHARGEBACK on the following charges by XYZ Company were not authorized by me (period) and if the credit card agent ask to explain, which they won't, all charges will be reversed immediately and the dating site will be sent a chargeback notice. They can try and fight it and fill out all the forms and supply all their policies and they lose, unless they can prove you clearly understood and agree with documentation. Even if they should happen to win the chargeback cost them $35 to $50. Always use your credit card, because you are protected by law.

OMG This is causing me huge stress. I have sent them an email requesting to cancel my registration and I registered today. Can you advise me please on what I can do as I do not have money to pay for a dating site and I did join thinking it was single parents site as it stated on the link on POF. I do not have money to waste on this. Please advise me if possible what I can do to sotp them taking my money

I joined thinking it was a mature singles site. They tailor their ads to your personal details (eg on Facebook).

Cancel your card, change your bank account details, it's a lot of bother but the only way to get round them.
