Be2.com's Crappy Membership Cancelling Process

You need to send a fax, which has to reach them a minimum of 7 days before the month is up. I have had a terrible time trying to fax so I emailed and explained the problem, even though I emailed with all the required details they still have to have a fax... who uses faxes these days?!!. This site is an absolute scam to get money out of people.... DO NOT GO NEAR THEM. Regards Ann

Stay well away from Be2.com, they are a scam, they say you can Join for a months free trial for £5 then take £149 out of your account. I tried to cancel about a week later and I was told I had to wait 14 days for the £5 to come out of my account. I tried to cancel again after this and they do make you jump through hoops to try to cancel your membership its impossible and rediculous.
Ive emailed them loads of times to cancel because i cannot get the links to work, stay away from them they are a scam big time.

same experience for me, i joined, the site was rubbish, so i cancelled my card in order that they couldnt charge me more. they sent a few emails demanding money for renewal and then gave the debt to a collection agent who wrote to me asking for payment
I paid it - life is too short - and sent an email to be2 customer services telling them what I think of them and instructing them to cancel my subscription since I can't access the site now. These people are crooks.

According to the terms and conditions on the Australian website their fax number in Luxembourg is 280 887 326. Don't know if you that includes other necessary numbers such as the country code but your phone company should be able to tell you that and how to fax them from your own country. Yes a few people still use faxes and you can do this by downloading fax-sending software on to your own computer, or maybe your local library has fax facilities.

Keep copies of absolutely everything you do with dates, times, etc, details of any phone conversations you are lucky (?) enough to have with these criminals.

From this thread, it seems the problem has been around since 2009. It is now 2012 and we're still facing the same problem. This goes to show that the company has no intention to stop "trapping" customers and cheating them of their money. Yes, stay away from Be2 everyone! And spread the word too!
