I am in Canada. I also got the run-around after signing up for the $5/one month trial, and ended up being threatened and so paid for the 6 month membership. 6 months later I thought I had successfully cancelled, having written for a cancellation code, entered it, and got a reply saying I had successfully cancelled my membership. Yet I still got threatening emails directly afterward saying I had to pay for another 6 months because I had not cancelled before two weeks from the expiry date of my membership. This went on for a few weeks, until a friend suggested I threaten THEM that I was reporting them to the Ministry of Consumer Affairs for Ontario. Within 2 days I got a "sincere" apology that they would "credit" my account for the "amount owing" and that I would no longer receive any emails & demands from them. Even though I got satisfaction, I'm still going to report them. Their site is THE WORST I've seen, and it seems many of the profiles are fake. You have no control over who is matched with you. The supposed post on this forum from "Michaela from be2.com" is a crock. They don't care what kind of service they provide. They are simply a scam outfit. So, if they are threatening you to pay up, DON'T and follow all steps to report them to your local consumer protection agency! Let's put these jerks out of business!

people, don't get con into this dating site like many of us did!play smar and take all advices seriously. it's really foroyur own good!

Hi I contacted the be 2 team by e-mail and they posted on my details that my subscription had been cancelled,that is my introductory month......Have now received a bank statement and they have deducted £119.94...this has overdrawn the account and am pretty teed off....the site is rubbish anyway not sure if the people are in fact real.
