Boy, I am overwhelmed by all the negative comments. I just gave them my credit card today. I was impressed by the personal nature of the service and the way the interview went. I am in Dallas...has anyone had experiences here? I wonder if it is dependent on what city you live in. It all sounds so terrible, I am regretting signing up now. She says someone will call tomorrow....I guess we will see. I feel very stupid now, thinking I might get a higher caliber of guy bc of the amount of money it costs. We'll see....

I joined in Nov 2019 and gone on two dates.
I did not realize if you refuse a date offer it counts as one of your 12 dates .
I requested the relationship counseling and feedback stated in the contract . The only feedback was “nothing bad was said “ ?????? . I am disappointed.

OH MY GOD...............TELL ME YOU DID NOT GIVE THESE GREEDY PEOPLE YOUR MONEY........I SIGNED UP LAST SEPTEMBER.................NOW IT IS FEB. I HAD 2.......THATS TWO DATES.............BOTH OLD GUYS WITH NO PERSONALITY......CAN YOU STOP PAYMENT? THEY WILL LIE SO MUCH ABOUT THEIR PROGRAM....ALSO...........IT TOOK ME 4 MONTHS TO FINALLY GET A COPY OF MY CONTRACT.................I ASKED THEM 7 TIMES....GOOD LUCK....GET READY TO POST YOUR BAD EXPERIENCE NEXT...

Paid fee, had questions no one call back sent emails left messages no response.company name Addison Texas is a scam. They take your money they do not match you with a true match. My one and only date wanted a Catholic and I am Baptist and they still match us.they take your money and never truly mad at you with anyone I only sell your extra things in their company that support pay their bills therefore continuously taking your money and playing with your heart. Run its a scam.

I had joined IJL in another city and had a great experience. In fact, I highly recommended the service to several of my friends. Then I moved to Dallas and thought I would have the same experience, but it turned out just the opposite. They do very little to promote personal service and are worse than any low rent used car salesman. Several of the people they matched me with felt the same, and I wonder why they're still in business.

It's an expensive service to consistently have matches that are no where in the same universe. It's a total sales job, and I highly discourage anyone to join the IJL franchise in the DFW area.

$2400 gone

have you stayed with IJL? How has it been? I just signed up today and wish I had done the due diligence beforehand...considering getting my money back. i paid $2300!!!

Pricing is extremely inconsistent with IJL. Some people get 10 dates for $2200. Others receive 5 for the same amount, and some people pay as little as $1400 for the same number. Is this a fair and equitable process or a scam that has gone "unchecked" for far too long.

this is a scam run. I am a victim advise you not to turn your money over to these people. You will be disappointed and out a lot of money.

In my humble opinion, find a meetup.com singles group for your age range near you and go that route. You get out, you meet people with similar interests and if it is a good organizer they will have a bunch of activities. Meetup.com is FREE to join and most groups have dutch type costs with maybe a small admin fee (depending on who is organizing and why). I am located near SF Bay area and these Just for lunch folks want your money and prey on folks emotions (they keep hounding me and after all these negative comments I am going to tell them to take a hike). I had a similar experience with a dating group called Great Expectations and you had to do the work yourself. Just my 2 cents (and saving you a lot of money)

I have a friend who is a member and has had NO LUCK with these people. Sad thing is she does not see that they are scamming her. She signed up for the first year and had the minimum dates or max or whatever the rules are and time ran out. They talked her into another year's service (she is weak) and she is not having any luck again. They keep setting her up with guys that are not what she is interested in....if he breathes I guess he is good enough but what a waste of time! Do not let your friends join this service. Go online and do it yourself....match.com was great for me. Found my guy there and been together 9 years and only took me 3 weeks to find him and didn't cost anywhere near $1800 a year like my friend is paying!

This sounds too much like the Presidential election we are in right now. I just signed up for 6 mos. at $2200. I feel duped and stupid. I called Capital One and they seem to know what's going on with this IJL group, and promised to help me avoid the cost of my idiotic lack of good judgement. I did NOT sign the e-mail contract, and I hope that will work in my case. I will say, they have a good sales woman in the branch! Okay, back to my first impression. Like this Presidential election, you may have fallen for it once, but will you fall for it a second time? That's all I will say.
Happy and Single, Probably Forever, But $2200 less spent on frivolity...
