DC: waste of money and time

I live in DC, and while the staff was always very nice, the entire process was a huge waste of time and money. I really feel like I've been swindled, but after you sign the waiver, there is no getting your money back. I'm on Match, and while things were going well, it was a very time consuming process. I thought that IJL was a perfect solution. They have a great business model, but they do not fulfill any of their promises. IJL immediately set me up on several dates for me in the first couple of weeks, and at first I was excited. As I went on date after awful date, I lost all enthusiasm. I complained to them that my matches in no way fit my criteria, but nothing changed. Did I mention that every one of the dates was unattractive? Certainly none of them were "busy executives." In all, I went on about 20 dates, plus two that just didn't show up (since you don't have the date's phone number, you'll just sit at the bar waiting). It was a terrible waste of time, which is what I was trying to avoid
