1. Clients are losers - NOT professional. not what they told me about in the interview.
2. WAY over priced for the service they promise. but never deliver
3. RUDE, RUDE, RUDE (Liz/Beth)
4. They lie
5. No e-mail correspondence. I live by my blackberry, why cant we coordinate a date via e-mail? I do it all the time with work and my friends! "thats not the way they do things"

Do I need to go on?
Try together, table for 2 or the other outfits - stay away from Its Just Lunch - they are out to lunch

I AGREE! Total and complete rip off! Interviewed me in California and then moved the operation to Florida! They didn't know the area and tried to set me up looking at the map from Florida, hoping it was close enough.
1. Nothing personal about the service. Dates are completely random. They do not choose someone for you according to your likes/dislikes at all.
2. Two guys were complete wackos.
3. Way overpriced! $1200 and they gave me four dates, calling from Florida and read off a resume from some old interview.
4. Refused a refund.
5. GO ONLINE MUCH BETTER AND CHEAPER!

In Denver... I guess I am one of the lucky ones. I signed up, or gave my "match maker" which she corrected me several times for referring to her as a sales person, my credit card information after 2 hours of a sales pitch that was admittedly very well done. I did not however sign the e-contract. Immediately after I hung up from giving my CC info. I had reservations. I Googled this site, read a few reviews, and then called my CC company to place a hold on the $2000 charge, and that was for only 6 mos. membership at the SALE Price! I got my money back. Glad I didn't have to learn the really tough lesson, thanks to Capital One for assisting me through the process. IJL knew they didn't have a chance and the refund showed up 2 days later.

I did the same thing but my CC said I'd have to dispute if the charge went through. I haven't sign the contract and I just spoke with someone last night. They want to call me today to take away my fears of finalizing membership. They can't charge me if I never sign the e-contract right?

They can charge you. Just stay firm and do not sign the contract. I think that's your only way out. The $2000 was charged to my CC but they credited my account after I told the "matchmaker" repeatedly that I did not want to go through with it. I was really worried for a couple of days though. So what happened in your case? What city are you in?

I had a similar experience but this happened last night. My CC company has a pending charge but said if it goes through I can dispute it. Did you say anything to the people at It's Just Lunch that you weren't signing it? Did they just let you go? They were expecting me to sign by 9AM today and I don't plan on doing that.
