Fake Profiles?

POF. Kind of suspicious. Many good looking women. Many look much younger than their posted age. This was an eye opener: I message a few women off and on. I start telling jokes to one and out of the blue another one messages me a religious joke. I hadn't yet told that one that I was religious nor did I start telling her jokes. Hmm. I think someone couldnt keep their multiple profiles straight. If you want to weed out some fake profiles that use pics of other women request that they send you a pic of them holding a random object like a hairbrush or a quarter and a dime. Preferably with their face. Make it an innocent request so there is no reason to refuse. If they refuse it was probably fake.

Yeah I have recently noticed that they are creating fake profiles that are upgraded members and they also have their settings to where you cannot message them without being an upgraded member. Several of them have tried to match with me and I'm match back but then they delete me off mutual match because I didn't become a member and then they delete the account within a day or so.
They're basically katfishing their customers

70% of PoF profiles are scammers or BoTs. Where have you been. For grins and giggles I kept track of the fakes i caught between the age of 40-50 in the Washington DC metro area. I averaged almost a thousand a week.

Sunday is their biggest night to release scams. About 300-400.

You figure that is just in one area in one demo.

To make matters worse the majority of female profiles are dead or inactive so there is maybe 5% that are new a week.

So in 95% if the time you are sending a message to a BoT, a Fake, a Scammer, or just a profile that was dead ages ago.
