Tapping on the Hi icon will send an automated response to the member. The challenge consists of 3 scenarios where the member must pick one. Each scenario involves them taking a selfie mimicking a specified reaction. The dating app WooPlus is available on Android and iOS. You can signup using your email address or by connecting your Facebook account. Here is the information they will request from you:

Verificaiton

The Emoji Challenge feature allows members to verify their profile by filming a short video, where they are asked to imitate the emojis presented as they film. Once they have completed the challenge, the video is posted and they get a video verification badge.

WooPlus is amazingly simple to use and has the features you would expect from a dating app. Most of the features listed here can be accessed when viewing a member’s profile or by tapping on the icons on the bottom bar of the app.

• Profile
  • View all public profile information about the member including Profile Personal Details, About Me, and Interests
  • A yellow diamond icon with a "V" in it by the display name of the profile indicates the member is a VIP, and a paid subscriber
  • View all photos. They are displayed through out the profile. You can also view them individually full screen where you can swipe to the next one

    • These are members who instead of sending you a message directly have decided to say instead they are interested but want you to make the first move. They are mini "What do I look like when..." challenges that act like conversation icebreakers
    • Tapping on a member who said Hi will start a Challenge
    • Each Challenge gives you 3 random scenarios from which you must choose one. Each scenario asks you to send a selfie to the member and requires you to make a facial expression that matches the scenario. For example, this is what I would look like if I won the lottery. All scenarios include an example photo and are based on reactions like laughter, surprise, etc...
    • Once you complete the Challenge then full messaging capabilities will be unlocked between the 2 members
  • Chats
    • Displays a list of members that you have sent and/or received a message from
    • Each row shows a photo of the member, their name, and the last message sent
    • A red heart icon to the far right of the message indicates it is mutual match
    • Tapping on the conversation will take you to your history of chat messages you have sent each other. On this screen you can also type in a new message
    • Text messages can also include your own photos and emojis
    • You can also send an audio message
    • Virtual Gifts can also be sent from here (they require you to spend Coins)
  • You can block or report the member in this section

In the Profile, Moments and Chats section of the WooPlus app you can add any member to your block list. This prevents them from viewing your profile and sending you any messages. You can also report a member to the WooPlus customer service team. This will launch a review of the profile and the members previous actions on the service.

Searching and Matching

WooPlus offers both location based automated matching and manual searching to both its free and VIP members.

Matching

You can access WooPlus's matches called "For You" by tapping on the card icon found on the bottom bar at the far left. You will then be presented with a members detailed profile that are based on your matching preferences (found in your profile) and your current location. You can scroll through the profile which includes at the top, the members display name, age, and gender. The main profile is presented followed by their general location and then the rest of their profile details. If the member has uploaded more photos you will then see them interspersed through out the profile. Tapping on the profile will show it in full screen and allows you to swipe through the rest of the photos.

When you are shown a profile card in "For You" you can react to it in several different ways. You can tap the X button to pass the profile if it does not spark your interest or tap the heart button to Like the profile. Each part of the profile also has a heart icon which you can also tap to not only like that part of the profile but add the profile to your list of Liked profiles.

When you like someone, you can count on your profile appearing in the other members "For You" section soon. If they like you back (or you like someone else back) this is then considered a mutual match. This is important because free members can send their own messages right away to any match. Once a match happens it is important to send your match a message right away, as in 48 hours if no one has sent a message, the match will expire. As a VIP member your matches do not expire. You also do have the option of extending expired matches from when you where a free member.

When viewing a profile card, you also have the option to "Say Hi". Free members must say Hi first where VIP members can start a chat right away and bypass using "Say Hi". If it is a free member who you said Hi to, then to respond they must complete a "What do I look like when..." challenge. The challenge involves them picking a scenario where they must send you a selfie showing themselves reacting a certain way. You can choose from 3 different scenarios and each one shows you an example of the type of photo to take. The scenarios usually have you mimicking different facial expressions like laughing or surprised (an example scenario is if you won a million dollars) and are designed to help break the ice and get the conversation moving forward.

When in "For You" if you would like to view a list of members you have liked you can swipe right. This then allows you to continue to swipe right to view all the previous members you have liked (one at a time).

To prevent ghosting WooPlus does limit the number of profiles you get to view in a day. VIP members get to view twice as many profiles as free members.

Searching

To search for members on WooPlus you need to tap on the magnify glass icon found on the bottom toolbar. This will take you to a gallery view of members. A photo of each member is shown along with their name and distance from you. A yellow diamond icon will be displayed by their name if they are a VIP member. Tapping on the profile photo will take you to the members full profile which you can from there send them a message if you wish (Say Hi for free members or an actual message if VIP member).

At the top of the search gallery you will find your current search filter. Tapping the down arrow beside the filter will allow you to modify your filters. Free members can change the gender and age range only. VIP paid members can update the region to search in or update the distance range that is suitable to them (which includes nearby, driving distance, flying distance, and worldwide). VIP members also have access to WooPlus Select which are additional search filters based on ethnicity, how popular a user is, and how active one is on WooPlus.
