Luxy Profiles & Sign Up Process

The dating service Luxy is available as an app on Android and iOS. It can also be accessed through their website at OnLuxy.com. When you join Luxy via the website you can signup using your email address or by connecting your Google or Facebook account. On the app you can signup with your email, Facebook, or LinkedIn account. Here is the information Luxy will request from you when creating an account and profile:

Browse & Search

Called Browse on the website and Search on the app, this is obviously where you want to go if you want to search for members directly. Your search results are presented in a gallery list type format displaying rows up to 3 columns across on the website and 2 on the app. Each result shows the main profile photo along with their name, any Status Emblems (Verified, Subscriber, Star, etc..), Age, Gender, and Location. Tapping on a profile will take you to their full profile.

On the app you can filter your results by Wealthiest (need to be a subscriber or have a 100% complete profile to unlock), Verified (you yourself must have verified your photo to use), Hot, Nearby, Online, and Newest. On the website you only can switch between Hot, Nearby, and Online. Within each main filter you can also filter the results further by Age Range and Gender. Members who subscribe can also filter by Location (i.e. you can bring up matching members from New York) instead of just Nearby.

Match

The Match section shows you one profile card at a time. Cards displayed to you depend on your location, common Tags, and the type of members you have Liked previously. With each profile card displayed, you can scroll down through the profile information and decide if you want to Like (swipe right or tap the Heart button) or Pass (swipe left or tap the X button). If you both end up Liking each other, then you will be notified of the mutual Match. At this point it is a great time to send a message to your new match to further dive into this possible romance. Remember all your matches can message you since it is free for Luxy BASIC members to send messages to their matches.

When viewing each profile card, you can also click or tap on the message button to message them right away (subscribers only) bypassing the whole mutual match process. The Luxy app also allows you to send members Roses. When you click on the Rose button you can send them a free Rose or choose a certain size of bouquet of Roses and spend some of your Luxy Coins. Sending Roses is a great way to show you are really interested in the member.
