Are there single dating/hook up sites with verified members?

I know there's a couple of swinger sites that I've looked up that has this.

what about regular dating sites?

Most of the dating sites for people looking for wealthy singles like MillionaireMatch.com verify your name, age, etc.. if the members send in the appropriate documentation.

eHarmony also does verification as well. They use a third party for this service called RelyID.

I was contacted by 3 scammers thru eharmony that were supposedly verified. Eharmony has just as many scammers as the free sites it just costs you.

Our site is free (edate.dating). A new user has to verify his/her email and we check every profile before accepting the profile. There is a possibility to repport the scammers to our support, but this happens rarely.

Is there any idea how to prevent scammers from the site?
