I have joined Badoo and I like the fact that for most things I can do them for free. As with all of these type of sites though I am getting some spam emails. I am not sure why people send out these one line emails as they are obviously spam. I even replied to 2 for fun just to see what they were up to but no one replied back.

I have been on Badoo only for a few days now but I do like it better than POF. I just hope I can meet someone soon. I have been trying online dating on other sites for about 6 months now and haven't gone on one date yet.

watch out for scammers. they are pretty easy to tell when you get a message from one since they are usually short and half of them do not make sense. also if the member contacting you is too good to be true then….. it is. when I first joined badoo I got messages from all of these hot chicks. I am in my forties and while i am fit and attractive i hadn’t even posted a picture yet so why would these hotties be contacting me? also why would chicks in their twenties who look like they listen to justin bieber want to contact an old fart like me anyways?

i have had good contacts on badoo and met a few chicks in their thirties but those scammers must think most men are stupid.

Any photos that contain a picture that looks like someone from a modeling agency took then they are most likely a scammer or some escort that is interested in you just logging into their site. This is also true of photos of any part of a woman's body. Most women who are looking for a relationship wouldn't put a photo of their butt!!!

Badoo is good in Europe especially in Britain and France but I found when I was in the United States traveling for 3 months there was not many attractive guys on it. I like to meet new people on the road and haven't had problems in my home country but in the United States I had poor luck. So I guess I would recommend it on one side of the Atlantic but not the other.

If someone’s picture is too good to be true, then it is too good to be true. Be careful. The site is full of people who will make a run for your money.

The only reason I wouldn't use Badoo is because I live in the United States. We have other much more popular (at least here) dating sites. Badoo is mainly for the European market. From my understanding they do not have to many members located in North America.

Badoo has a lot of fake profiles. If you encounter someone who looks like they’re too good to be true, that’s because they are too good to be true. Be careful!

Yeah I have had the same problem. If the pictures are of a hot chick you know it is probably a potential scam. You never know who is actually behind the keyboard.

Tell me about it. I actually think a lot of guys post pictures of hot chicks and get their kicks by leading other guys on. This one girl was talking to me via email for over a week (like 20 messages) before I got suspicious. Her emails were long and it would have taken a long time to write these and they were personalized to me.

Things started to get weird when we started sending pictures of each other that were a little more revealing. I tell you I wasn't expecting the pictures I got and am not sure what is going on.

I guess this site (Badoo) is okay cause I have a couple of friends who are in it and the other one said that so far, she met professional and decent guys through this dating site. Personally, I don't want to try free dating websites when I was single cause I'm afraid of it and since anyone can just register. I met my husband through a dating website too called Eharmony which is very popular in the US and other parts of the world. I am in Dubai as an expat and so is my husband. I would say that eharmony is trusted and so far I have many friends who found their soul mates through that site.
