I was dating this guy for 3 months. For the last month we were in an exclusive relationship which he asked for and I was more than happy to agree with. We were having lots of fun and got along great together but then something weird has happened...

Just over 2 weeks ago he went on vacation. The night before he left I texted him asking him to call me in the morning so we could say our goodbyes. He didn’t call me so I gave him a call before his flight left in the morning and he never answered. He left me without saying goodbye!

The last 2 weeks while he was on vacation were pretty agonizing for me since I could not communicate with him. He was out of country on a wilderness camping trip with no cell service.

When he got back I expected him to call me right away, especially since I left him a message to do so. Well it now has been 2 days since he has been back and I have not heard a word from him. I am pretty confused by his actions. I am not sure what is happening and I am pretty hurt.

Should I go by his place to see what is up or continue to wait?

It looks like you already think your relationship is over since you said “I was dating this guy”. If he is truly back from your trip and he hasn’t called you even after you left him a message to do so then I think your relationship is over.

What I would do is go by his place when you know he should be home and confront him. If he doesn’t have a really good excuse (and I can’t think of one except for if his trip was extended) then I would dump him. I would also tell him that the way he treated you was horrible. YOU CAN DO BETTER!!!
