I think my biggest problem when it comes to dating is figuring out if a women is actually interested in me or not. I find myself pursuing women and end up floundering for a couple weeks until I realize she is not interested. This doesn't happen all the time but it has happened enough where I want to figure out why.

I think my biggest problem is when a women is just trying to be nice and let me off easily. For example she may cancel a date and say lets try again next week. All she ends up doing is getting my hopes up which comes crashing down a few weeks later when she finally tells me she is not interested.

What signals should I be looking for to either pursue a new relationship or let it go?

Unfortunately, there are no right or wrong answers when it comes to love.

There is no rule book that says women act in a certain way. Some women play games, some don't. It is the same for men. All you can ask is that she be honest with you, if she isn't interested, get her to tell you that, not just 'let's try next week'. And in return you be honest with women, if you are not interested then let the woman know. There are ways of letting people down nicely without hurting their feelings but also making it clear.

There are thousands of women out there, don't get hung up on the women that don't get back in touch, look at yourself, dust yourself off and get back out there.

I guess I shouldn't let my hopes lead me on. If a girl is in to you then they would be contacting you all the time or at least get back to you right away if you text or leave a phone message. I think if they tend be vague about when the next date will be then, I will move on and assume that they are not interested.
