I think I have a new friend i met on a dating site. He responds to my email right away but, doesn't initiate any messages.

I'm thinking of trying a little experiment, painful as it will be for me. This time I will wait and see if he messages me. I just don't like seeing initiating contact being so one sided. I understand if someone is busy. But how busy is too busy. When is it time to just sort of let go?

from my perspective, if I don't initiate contact, I'm not interested. Period. And if I do all the initiating, I'll give up and walk away.
