As I have written, match.com is a waste as have others.
A few people probably do meet someone on this site or on others and even get married (I did but it did not last a year-maybe because she lied about everything but I did not met her on the internet but through a newspaper Personals that I had reasonable luck with and much better than the internet anyday.
The trouble is that all the dating sites have discovered the money to be made over trying to find true compatability for its members.
I have written Match that they need to flag the non-members so people would not wast time but I was given an excuse why this was not done.
Just another sign match does not give a rats ass except for the monthly fee.
And everyone that has tried to cancel that I have talked to be it match or another site finds it a hard process to get the membership stopped.
Lastly, I have not used the other two mentioned but the reviews of other members do not rate them very high.
The biggest trouble is that we all expect that we deserve the best because that is what we are told via advertising, movies, TV and all other propaganda. So a person that say 20 years ago would have been fine getting to know may have a ciold or a bad day on the first date and its easier to move on via the ocmputer than to give that person a second chance.
So these people in search for perfection are on the internet on Christmas morning (I have checked on match since it shows who is online at the moment-the only good feature because it at least shows who is a member and you might get some immediate response).
But I have read in a Dallas magazine that match (which is headquarted in the Dallas area (Plano I think) is composed mostly of never marrieds who are too picky according to the author doing the article. They expect perfection. Guess that is why Match has so many never married (not a good sign).
