Very helpful information. I'm tenuous about using dating sites, not so much about 'fake' profiles, but because even if the profile is real, you really don't know if the man (or woman) is truthful. Others have mentioned that married men use dating sites to cheat on their wives. Even if they're legitimately separated, it's hard to truly know another human being. For example, there's a guy on two dating sites and while his profile does describe him and his likes/dislikes, what women don't know about him is that he drinks alot (he's an alcoholic) and that he's bisexual - and I bet he's not telling women he meets that he has s*x with men.
