I supposedly won a free membership to this new dating site in Boston by writing an essay. However, since being notified of this offering, I was never invited to any of the “group” events offered by the program which is how you participate. The claim is you simply prepare a membership profile and then enlist at the event you’d like to attend. I did this for almost two months and was never “accepted”. I notified the membership coordinator. The response was unsatisfactory. I complained again and the same thing happened- not much to say the least. I was told the Manager would contact me. He did not. They gave me his number and I told them that it was their responsibility to contact me. I’ve now withdrawn my membership at Party for Six.

In summary, I think the “free” membership was never real. Secondly, you can’t participate in a program that doesn’t allow you to have control over your ability to be active. Does a paying member get treated like this? I’m going to guess maybe or maybe not. I’d hate to think that my age, being what it is, was a discriminating factor too. Has anyone actually been a member of this service?

What is the real deal?
