I'm finding it hard to trust guys on dating sites. It's scary to think you can be pouring your heart out to someone and they could be married or in a relationship. Sometimes I think I may be looking for too much out of these sites. Most single sites I feel are designed for people who want sex and not necessarily "love".

I completely understabd where you are coming from. I spent three months emailing a guy and we gradually progressed to talking on the phone. I was very open with him and he wanted to meet me and was head over heels blah blah blah....so I finally suggest that we meet and I have one positive email response, then a three hour chatand no nada zipp - everyone else seemed to be after sex and so I am done with this whole scene. It is as seedy as the bar scene and not good for the old self esteem.
