It is a free site and you get what you pay for-namely nothing but rude people.

So how did this one man operation and his bunch of moderators make this such a huge site. I have tried this crap site for over two years and met three women.

Most of the women if they obhter to reply always use the same response like 'you are too negaive'.

These women could find negativity in anything.

this site is for losers and crazy people.

The people who run those sites just do so for a hobby.

It got big by being free. there are a number of them out there in the market right now, free sites. many of them trying to attract members such as http://www.imingle.ca , the newest site from Canada to try the free online dating market. many of them won't succeed because there is too much competition.

i agree the people on there are rude! if you want nice serious people you have pay for dating there is this new site thats free to register but then you got to pay, when looking for a dating site i always go to the ones that charge but am very carefull to which one i choose, www.catchaheart.com is fab there are over 3 million profiles and loads of stuff to do.

I Have unfortunately have been on plenty of fish for about 3 & 1/2 years, and have found a lot of it to be just a game, Like stated before the women on that site are rude, and think they are better then everyone else and yet Marcus lets them get away it, ( Guess maybe he thinks he get a piece from them) I concider Plenty of fish to be a ses-pool of low life women. I was on this site for about 3 years under various user names. I would get fed up, banned, whatever, leave and ghen come back since it was free.

You have wasted your time.

If you value your time as I do mine, those are years wasted while a dick like Marcus Fink gets rich. This site was a programming exercise that grew into an unreal money maker .

I don't undestand why all his moderators are so loyal since he does not seem to share his easy money. And i have read theat every time someone logs onto POF, Fink gets 30.00 a pop.

And he makes at least 10 k a DAY.

Surely that is enough to share with someone.

This guy is greedy. He does NOT dcare aboput the members on the site. All he cares about is adsense money.

I have heard that he plans to sell POF. It sems like he has a press to print money though.

And when a person finally realizes that it isn't going to happen in regards to meeting someone of even low qulaity character except for the bottom of the barrel (I have been on two dates and one was a hooker). The other one was a woman in her mid 40's that did not know what she wanted romatically. At this age, you should have a good clue.

If not, you never will.

Like I wrote. The real crimes are that people wwaste their time thining that they will eventually meet someone . I see so many posts on the fourms saying be patient and it will happen I say BS

Second. I have no problem with someone making money off a service or problem that beneftis people. But all POF dioes is benefit Marcus Fink.

Like I said before, fb... online dating is becoming more and more like CB radio. The only people who still take it seriously are the Markuses who make money on it.

I have been a member of POF since Feb. 2007. If you are just an average guy you will get nothing out of the site. I read a stat that 94 percent of the members are men. Some of the woman get 100 messages a day , i have gotten 3 messages in almost 6 months. I wont spend any more time on that site because it is a joke. I have spent hours and hours writing nice letters to woman and they wont even say Hi. It make me sick just reading some of the girls profiles most of them are just a rant or the girls have a shopping list so long that they will never be happy with any man. I thought i would meet a few girls , but oh no not there. I guess i should have lied. Sorry , i wish i had something good to say about POF but that place is just a big downer.

I have to say that its not just woman that are the bottom of the barrel on this site!!! One of my guy friends encouraged me (a stable goodlooking woman) to go on this site about a year and a half a go. I did and I was hit on by married men and other bottom of the barrel men. What amazed me was how many men using photos that are not them. The scary thing is that I actually thought I met a good guy on there a year ago... we have been dating, living together and everything the last year... just found out he is a scammer too... took my money and is now mia. I am a career focused lady who makes good money and was just looking for a way to meet a good man. Not to play head games with!!!
