Some news guy on the radio said the government in Singapore is worried about the low birth rate there, so they had an idea: the government would start endorsing dating services, and punish those who operated said services according to standards that were less than honest.

So I guess in Singapore, you can join one of these outfits and pick the partner that has the traits you like, sort of like shopping for a new car that has the options you want. Sounds a bit dehumanizing, but hey, it would work for me.

This is the funny part... how long do you think it will take before one of us fool Americans goes there, finds out how their new dating system is working, and tells the locals "no, no, you people are doing it all wrong... you're supposed to make it harder to find someone, not easier. Your dating system should be broken, like ours is back in the States." LOL!!!

The online dating racket is broken. It is a good idea. But too many are not serious or realistic about who they seek. The women want Greek Gods and the men want arm charm in too many cases.

Most of the photos I think are real on the site I have seen show fat or chubby women . The guys are actually look like they could do ok in the real world. Maybe I am turning gay LOL.

And of course there are the hot women in skimpy outfits. They need an online dating site (unless they live in the middle of nowhere) like a fish needs a piano.

I wish our government would regulate the online date services. And I would like to see less of the mom and pop ones and the bigs ones clean up their act.

Why do I not like the small services?

No slection unless you are willing to go on a date that may be in your state but a hundred miles from where you live.

At least match.com has a decent selection of Dallas women. Trouble is that they do not seem to really want to date or they are suddenly in a buffet of men and want to sample as many as possilbe (assuming the woman is attractive).

I have written fat women how were they doing or ones with no photo posted and all said they had no dates.

So online datining is like the bar scene which is too bad.

A lot of us are shy and do rotten in a bar or in the real world of romance.
