My friend told me he uses this site, Lemontonic, to chat with friends and potential dates. I was stuck inside the other night, warming up with some hot cocoa and decided to check it out. So I fired up my 'puter and went to the website and what an amazing time I had. There are soo many users, over 3 million if i remember correctly, from all over the world. I chatted with a guy in Spain, a girl in Toronto ( my newest running partner) and 3 other ppl from various countries who cracked me up. Yapping with users from different areas in the world is a blast.... i suggest checking it out. Oh yes and the best part was .. it is Free! Anyhow, thought i would share the wisdom as my friend did, hopefully someone else will benefit from the site as I have.. and my friend.

I know what you're saying about the global reach, had quite a few chats with ladies in Spain as well. They are quite the lookers - and very funny.

Not sure when the site went free but lucky for us that it did.

i used to use 'plentyoffish' but hated looking at the interface, its such an ugly site. Lemontonic is pretty, I'm surpised it's free. Thanks for the tip.

I have been there as well as plentyoffish.com. I agree on how ugly it is and the pictures are horrible.

Have you checked out Priceless Partner.. it's not bad. Kind of like plentyoffish. Has great Instant Messaging and a good bunch of people on it...
