Why am I getting text messages from a dating service with a verification code? I have NEVER been on their website or app, I never have been on any dating website, or searched anything remotely close to a dating website.

This is clearly harassment! They need to STOP sending people garbage like this who have never asked for it.

It might not be the dating apps fault fully. Someone probably submitted your phone number with a fake account they created and they are just confirming it is you or not.
