How many chances do you give a partner if they make mistakes? i know this is kinda an open question but take it whateva way you want.

SUPER vauge question and you can take this a few different directions so it's hard to respond. but, if you took the time to write a post, i bet you are re-considering things. and for that, i'd say think about if you are willing to deal with the mistakes they made for the rest of your life. sometimes the mistakes that people make aren't one and done, and they become habits that are part of their personality. dishonesty, cheating, violence, etc.

My 2 cents is more than one chance if they forgot to buy you a birthday card or forgot to do something like that, and one chance if they are having sex with other people and cheating on you-- I think this is where you are headed am i right?

Do you consider sexting as cheating?
I do but my husband sees it as an exciting game. Not sure I can live with that though ☹️
