Advice for when two married people fall in love and they are married to other people? Both of us are in miserable marriages. Friends for a long time but realized we are much more. I’ll give more details but we want to make it work together because we feel like we are the perfect match for each other and we would finally live the life we both wanted. I really love her. I need some real truth. Good, bad and ugly.

IMO- it depends on what is it based on. Only Pure sex hook ups and lust? Not cool. Is it truly based in love and do you care about them as a person 100 percent? Maybe you just had poor timing meeting each other. How can you get in the way of love?

I had friends that got married and they knew each other for years on a platonic basis. They both married the wrong mate, had kids, and realized that they loved each other incredibly. They are both kind people and have family values. They ended up together and made it work. I’ve never seen two people more in love. How can this be wrong? It’s just meant to be. They just had bad timing the first go round but now they can grow old together and be happy.

I agree you can’t get in the way of love. If it’s love it will find a way no matter the circumstances.

Were you ever in love before?

Are you sure you are both in love?

How do you know? Examples

Are you making another bad choice? Did you think you were in love the first time?

Read my other post for what’s going on with my marriage and how I’m dealing with shi*t. Wife cheated on me for years…. Not with her the “love of her life” but MULTIPLE men that gave her attention and wanted sex. She is a slut and i should have realized this the first time she strayed. There wasn’t mutual love between her and her sex partners……..
Trust me on this But i guess it’s all how you define love I which confuses the hell out of me anymore. But yet my wife feels we can go back to a normal marriage. Nope

I can prove you wrong by looking at marriage statistics. More than half of all marriages fail and are not permanent. You live one life. Why torture yourself staying in a marriage without love?
