I see Locanto.com has a personals section for dating. Reminds me of the old personals section in Craigslist.

Anyone have any luck using Locanto, at least in the personals section and Casual Encounters? I notice some posts that I am interested in but some seem to want to connect via the Whats App

I never received a response. I even asked a few of "women" to just send a response that they are not interested just to see, and there was nothing

I wanted to try something other than tinder since that place is useless and I don't feel I am a good fit for bumble or others but can confirm it's not just one sided on locanto, whether the personals page or the dating app.

Even though we live in a culture of guys contacting first, I went out of my way to write some guys thoughtful messages and just nothing, silence. When I find I can't practically "give it away" that makes me feel there's something wrong with me, maybe I am too young, not pretty enough or too intellectual in a world that prefers their girls to be dumb as a post.

Don't waste your time on Locanto looking for love or casual fun, it's not worth it.

I've been on it for a month and messaged 100's of people while having pics and everything set up. I'm 6 feet tall and I'm in good shape with a big *censored* and everything. I messaged guys cuz im gay and well... Nothing, not a *censored* word. Toronto in general is full of greedy scam artists who just want to jerk off alone I guess.

Mate… forget the Locanto as everything is a scam.. if you want to find a good partner try Thailand or Vietnam just watch out for money hungry individuals including lady boys… I’ve been going to Thailand for the past 10 years and always manage to find a lady companion 35 - 40 years younger than myself.. I’m 69 this year!
