I think the guy I am messaging on a dating app might be involved in a scam. He works on an oil rig and is contacting me to send pictures where he sent me a "code" that was 6 digits long through POF message center. He then sent me pics. I am curious as to how I received such a code from POF and why would that be needed to send me pics.

Does anyone know what this person has done or is up to?
