Trying to do a screen grab or snapshot on the grindr dating app... and I can't seem to do it.

Does anyone know how? Do I need a special app to grab a screenshot?

I press the Top button and the Home button on my iPhone and nothing happens. This works for other apps though so it seems like the dating app is blocking my attempts some how.

Not sure, I am always worried that someone can tell if I do a screenshot.

If you do a screenshot on a dating app of your conversation and messages does the other person know?

I didn't think users can know when a screen capture happens on the other end of a conversation but it looks like according to this article that the
Grindr dating app can detect screenshots. If an app can detect it (does it need permissions for this???) then the app could notify the user if that is built into the program of the app.

I am sure almost all apps do not do this as users would not like it.
