I am tired of finding scammers on dating apps. I have even found the same account on different dating services. Lets create a list here so we have a place to check to see if the name of someone we are messaging is a potential scammer!

I found a lot of scammer names end with a bunch of numbers. I figure this happens when they try to create a profile with a certain user name but it is already taken so then just tack on a random number at the end to generate a unique name. Here are a few names I have come across this morning:

brownsugar6665
lindanash123
lilianwaters001

Not sure how helpful this will be since I am sure scammers use some of the same names as real users of dating sites. A name of a scammer found say on Tinder doesn't mean that if the account exists on POF is a scammer, it could be a real person.

Plus scammers are constantly getting their accounts close as dating sites combat them and then they just open up a different account under a different name.
